Candle and Matches Safety Information

By purchasing and using candles and matches from our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. General Safety Precautions

• Always keep candles and matches out of reach of children and pets.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Light candles only in well-ventilated areas and not in bedrooms, bathrooms or anywhere people may be sleeping.
• Keep candles away from flammable objects, including, but not limited to, curtains, bedding, paper, and household cleaning products.

1. Candle Usage

• Trim candle wicks to ¼ inch before each use.
• Extinguish candles upon leaving a room or home.  Do not use water to put out a candle flam.
• Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant, non-flammable surface, at least two feet away from anything that burns.
• Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time.
• Discontinue use when ½ inch of wax remains to avoid overheating the container.

1. Match Usage

• Strike matches away from your body and away from hair and loose clothing.
• Extinguish matches completely before discarding them.
• Store matches in a cool, dry place away from any flammable items.
